2
What does Team RHJ do?
What is the monthly membership fee?
3
The monthly membership fee is $50 which helps cover the ongoing costs of operating the program, including gym space, equipment, and administrative expenses. Monthly fees are required to remain active in the program.
Are tournament fees included in the monthly membership?
4
No. Tournament fees are separate from monthly membership fees.
Tournament costs vary depending on:
Tournament location (local, Phoenix-area, or out-of-state)
Entry fees charged by tournament organizers
Travel-related costs (when applicable)
Tournament fees will be communicated in advance so families can plan accordingly.
Can someone donate to help cover my child’s fees?
5
Yes! Family members, friends, sponsors, or community supporters are welcome to donate on behalf of a specific child to help cover registration, monthly membership, or tournament fees.
Important:
When making a donation on our donation page, the donor must include the child’s full name in the notes or designation section so we can properly apply the donation to that athlete’s account.
What makes Team RHJ different than the rest?
6
Team Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (Team RHJ) is different because we are a nonprofit, community-driven youth basketball program that prioritizes mentorship, character development, and access, not just wins and trophies.
Unlike many programs, Team RHJ:
Operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, enabling tax-deductible donations from families, sponsors, and community members on behalf of children and program needs;
Focuses on long-term player development, accountability, and leadership on and off the court;
Serves underserved and diverse youth while keeping costs transparent and reasonable;
Emphasizes mentorship, structure, and positive role models, not pay-to-play pressure;
Reinvests every dollar back into the program to support athletes, facilities, and community impact.
